About The Natural Turn

The Natural Turn: Honest Research on Clean Living, Products & Choices

I’m Miriam, a marketing project and strategic operations manager who got tired of surface level “clean living” advice that relies more on trends and affiliate pressure than real understanding.

This shift began when I noticed recurring skin sensitivities in my family and realized most “clean living” advice online wasn’t built on thoughtful evaluation. Around the same time I began questioning how “clean” products are marketed, my family and I started paying closer attention to recurring skin irritation and sensitivity. That experience pushed me to slow down, question ingredients more carefully, and research what we were using and eating, not to look for cures, but to reduce unnecessary exposure and make more informed choices.

The Natural Turn exists to document that process honestly.

What You’ll Find Here

This site focuses on clarity over hype. You’ll find:

  • Ingredient-focused product research
  • Plain-English explanations of what labels actually mean
  • Practical household, personal care, and lifestyle swaps
  • Transparency about what I use, and what I choose not to

I don’t chase trends, and I don’t recommend everything that crosses my screen.

How I Approach Recommendations

I’m not a medical professional, and nothing on this site should be considered medical advice.

Everything shared here is based on personal research, observation, and the products or approaches I’ve chosen to use in my own home. Some worked for us, some didn’t, and both outcomes matter.

You’ll never find miracle claims or pressure to buy here. If something appears on this site, it’s because I felt comfortable researching it and documenting why.

About Affiliate Links & Transparency

Some content on The Natural Turn may include affiliate links. This means I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase through those links, at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate links help support the time and research behind this site. They do not influence what I choose to write about or recommend.

Why This Site Exists

The wellness space is crowded with advice driven by algorithms and sales funnels. The Natural Turn is my way of stepping away from that noise and creating a place rooted in transparency, restraint, and informed decision-making.

If you care more about understanding than trends, you’re in the right place.
